Things Can Only Get Better Tour

The Things Can Only Get Better Tour, a multi-act show featuring the biggest Synth-Pop of all time, featuring legendary singer-songwriter Howard Jones at the Borgata Event Center on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 8:00 PM.

The Things Can Only Get Better Tour will hit the road in North America this summer with stops in Napa, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, West Valley City, Washington DC, and more.

For over four decades, Jones has been at the leading edge of the electronic music explosion of the 1980’s and this show will feature an advanced high-tech band performing all of Jones’ famous hits, including “Things Can Only Get Better,” “What Is Love,” “New Song,” “No One Is To Blame,” “Like to Get to Know You Well,” and many more songs that shaped a generation of music lovers.

Legendary English pop icon Howard Jones will perform many of his hit songs from the 80s including “Things Can Only Get Better,” “What Is Love?,” “New Song,” “No One Is To Blame,” “Like to Get to Know You Well,” and “Hide and Seek.”

Jones’ debut album Human’s Lib reached #1 on the UK Albums Chart in 1984 and has since been certified 3x Platinum in the USA selling over 10 million albums there. He is one of a handful of British artists to have had huge success on American radio with 15 top 40 hits between 1983 and 1992. He was also the first to use a Kaoss Pad live on stage during his 1994 World Wide Tour. He performed his hit song “Hide and Seek” at the historic Live Aid 1985 event. He has sold over 10 million albums in the USA and has had 15 top 40 hit singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart between 1983 and 1992. 

Borgata Event Center Information

The Borgata Event Center is located at 1 Borgata Way, Atlantic City, NJ 08401. The Borgata Event Center is a 30,000 square foot venue that boasts high ceilings of 30 feet tall. This venue can seat a theater style setting on the floor and in the elevated seating with a maximum capacity of 3,200 guests. Additionally the Borgata Box Office will be open 4 hours prior to the show time for will-call and for pick up at the Will Call window.

Parking Information

There is free on site parking in several large surface lots as well as a very large covered garage. For the ultimate in parking convenience Borgata Event Center also offer valet parking at the main entrance. There are also many public parking lots and garages throughout Atlantic City and they are all within walking distance to the Borgata.
